12.00pm - Riders Sign in

1.30pm - rider Briefing

2pm-4pm - Practice

5pm-5.30pm - Bike Warm up

5.40pm Rider Introduction and
Grand Parade

6.pm - Official opening of track
(by Ivan Mauger & Ronnie Moore )
Followed by first 4 heats

Track Length - 200m

 
Recommended Gearing - 16/63-68 or 17/65-70

The track will be watered and graded between heats as required.

There will be a Jack Daniel’s promotional night at the Rolly Inn, Main South Road, Christchurch on Friday 9th January 2009, that will feature cheaper than normal Jack Daniels all day on Friday the 9th.

The North Island v South Island official challenge at Moore Park will be a Twilight event starting at 5.30pm and finishing approximately 8.30pm. Approximately 9.30pm the prize giving for both the North Island and South Island teams will take place at the Rolly Inn.

This will be a great place where the public can meet both teams and also Ivan Mauger and his National Training Academy team.
 



 
 
Ivan has been Patron of the Mosgiel and District Motorcycle Club since 1980.

The Club will have a special Function at their clubroom on Saturday 10th January from 7pm where Ivan and most of the North Island and South Island Speedway teams and their mechanics will be in attendance.  

The clubroom is located on Dukes Road Mosgiel.
A location map will shortly be on this site.

The drive time from Christcurch to Dunedin/ Mosgiel is 5 Hours maximum.
The Drive time from Mosgiel to Invercargill/Oreti Speedway is 2 Hours Maximum On display will be Ivans latest Factory Jawa Longtrack bike.
